Michael Robinson, Ed.D
Dr. Robinson is the Principal here at Langston Hughes. Prior to coming to Langston Hughes, Dr. Robinson served as the Principal at Creekside High School for 5 years. He has also served for 10 years at Tri-Cities High School as a Special Education teacher, Head Boys Basketball Coach and Curriculum Assistant Principal. Before coming to Fulton County, Dr. Robinson worked as a Special Education teacher and Head Boys Basketball Coach for Evans Junior High School for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Dr. Robinson graduated from the University of D.C and Jacksonville State. He received is doctorate in Educational Leadership from Argosy University - Sarasota. In his spare time, Dr. Robinson enjoys reading, listening to live music and playing golf.
Jennifer Boyter
Mrs. Boyter is the Curriculum Assistant principal here at Langston Hughes. She comes with a wealth of experience in Fulton county, as a former Curriculum Assistant Principal at Creekside High and Westlake High. She has also served as a Career Services teacher at Banneker and Creekside High Schools. Before coming to Fulton county, Mrs. Boyter worked with Dekalb County Schools as a Career Services teacher and as a School Program Director at St. John's Community Services in Washington, DC. Mrs. Boyter is a graduate of California State College and George Washington University. She received her degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University. She enjoys running, traveling, eating and listening to music in her spare time. She is married and has three dogs and two cats.
Stanley King, Ed.D
Dr. King serves as an Assistant Prinicpal and is in charge of Bus Discipline here at Langston Hughes.
Anthony Newbold
Mr. Newbold is serving as the Assistant Principal and Discipline Coordinator here at Langston Hughes. Prior to coming to Langston Hughes, Mr. Newbold served as an Administrative Assistant at Creekside High School for 2 years. He has also served as a middle school Math teacher in various Fulton County Middle schools. Prior to his tenur in Fulton County, Mr. Newbold worked as an elementary teacher in Patterson, NJ and Long Beach, CA. Mr. Newbold is a graduate of Morehouse college and attended St. Peter's College where he received a Masters in Educational Leadership. He is currently attending Walden University as a Doctorial student in the Educational Admnistration program. In his spare time Mr. Newbold enjoys watching basketball, taking part in outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. He is married and has two daughters.
Tomeka Crum
Mrs. Crum is the 9th Grade Academy Administrator here at Langston Hughes. Prior to coming to Langston Hughes, Mrs. Crum served as an Administrative Assistant at Creekside High School. Before becoming the Academy Administrator, she served as an Administrative Assistant (LHHS), a teacher and in other capacities at Creekside. Prior to coming to Fulton County, Mrs. Crum served as a Special Education teacher at Wetumpka High School in Alabama. Mrs. Crum was selected as the Teacher of the Year at Wetumpka High School in Alabama for the 1996-1997 school year and she was also selected as Professional of the Year at Creekside High School for the 2007-2008 school year as well. Mrs. Crum is a graduate of Alabama State University and received her Masters in Administration and Supervision from Cambridge College. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, traveling, attending sporting events, dancing and spending time with her family. She has been married for seven years and though she has no biological children, she considers all 2200 students at Langston Hughes her children.
Homer Thornton
Mr. Thornton serves as an Assistant Principal here at Langston Hughes.
